Veronika Ilieva was born on August 26th, 2007 and is a student at the National Arts School in Russe. She studies piano with the renowned Bulgarian pianist and teacher Evgeni Jeliazkov. Her performances in Bulgaria and abroad are numerous and among her successes are First prize at the Hopes, Talents, Masters XXI International Youth Music Competition in Dobrich, Second prize at the Crajovа-Piano XI International Competition in Craiova, Romania, Second prize at the Names of the Future II National Competition in Russe and First prize at the Young Pianists’ Competition in Nish, Serbia.

 

Georgi Chikolov was born on August 24th, 2003 in Plovdiv. He studies at the Dobrin Petkov National School for Music and Dance in Plovdiv in the piano studio of Svetlana Koseva and has participated in masterclasses with a number of well-known piano teachers from around the world. Georgi was a full scholarship participant at the Luzerne Music Center’s International Academy for Music in New York, USA. The young pianist was awarded more than 20 prizes from different competitions throughout Bulgaria and Europe. A few months ago, Georgi won the first prize and an invitation as a soloist of the Luzerne Music Center’s Academy orchestra under the baton of Maxim Eshkenazi in the International Concerto Competition in New York, USA.

 

Nauma Najman was born on September 25th, 2005 in Antwerp, Belgium. At the age of 4 she entered the class of Daniela Cherpokova in the Lyubomir Pipkov National Music School of Bulgaria. Since then, Nauma has worked with internationally acclaimed cellists such as Stefan Popov, Dominique de Williencourt, Romain Garioud, Martina Schucan, and others. She is a laureate of several international competitions and has been rewarded for her outstanding artistic talent. For the past 2 years she participated in the Music Campus Balchik and performed in the Stone Hall in Balchik both as a soloist and chamber musician. In spring 2017, she performed with the Sofia Soloists Chamber Orchestra in the Sofia City Art Gallery as a laureate of the International Young Virtuosos Competition.

Nikolay Dimitrov was born in 2001 in Russe. He has played the piano since the age of six in the piano studio of Daniela Kyurkchieva at the Prof. Vesselin Stoyanov National Arts School in Russe. She is a laureate of numerous awards from competitions, among which first prizes at the Masters of Piano Concerto in London, American Protégé International Music Talent Competition in New York, Virtuoso Grand Prize in Vienna, and Virtuoso Grand Prize in London. In 2015, he played his first big solo recital with classical and jazz music in the Bulgarian embassy in London and performed at the Royal Albert Hall, Musikverein and the Bastille Opera House. He has been a soloist of the Russe Philharmonie four times and has taken masterclasses with some of the most famous pianists of our times.

Mario Bobotsov was born on February 14th, 2002 and is a student at the Lyubomir Pipkov National Music School in Milka Miteva’s piano studio. He started his education in piano playing at the age of six. Mario is a laureate of a number of international competitions in Serbia, Macedonia, the Czech Republic, and Bulgaria. The pianist is a five-time winner of the Lydia Kuteva Memorial Scholarship and has participated in many prestigious masterclasses. Together with his piano studies, Mario Bobotsov is also interested in singing. He has been a soloist as a singer many times since his early childhood and has been invited as such by the President of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Embassy of the United States in Bulgaria. He has participated and has been a soloist in the Lyubomir Pipkov National Music School’s Vocerele vocal ensemble at home and abroad.

Syon Najman was born on June 9th, 2002 in Antwerp, Belgium. At the age of 6 he joined the class of Daniela Cherpokova at the Lyubomir Pipkov National Music School of Bulgaria. As a young musician he has worked with internationally renowned cellists Stefan Popov, Vladimir Perlin, Dominique de Williencourt, Romain Garioud, Martina Schucan, and others. In 2016 he joined the class of Romain Garioud in Paris, France. He has participated and performed in summer courses and festivals in Belgium, Switzerland, Italy and Bulgaria, both as a soloist and chamber musician. After winning the first prize at the international competition in Dobrich, he is invited regularly to perform with his string quartet. Syon is a laureate of international competitions in Bulgaria and abroad.

Nikolay Marinov was born on April 8th, 2001 in Plovdiv. He is a student at the Dobrin Petkov National School for Music and Dance in Plovdiv in Svetlana Koseva’s piano studio. Nikolay is a winner of over 50 awards from international competitions and festival, most of which first and very often with maximum points. The pianist has been a soloist of the Dobrin Petkov National School for Music and Dance’s Symphony Orchestra, Sofia, Sliven and Vratsa Philharmonies, State opera Stara Zagora. He is given solo recitals in Turkey, Belgium, France, Bulgaria and is a multi-times winner of the Dimitar Berbatov Foundation’s Scholarship, as well as awards from the Ministry of Culture, the Young Bulgarian Talents Foundation, the Philippopolis Rotary Club in Plovdiv.
